HOTEL DESCRIPTION
<b>Travel Advisory:</b> The Worker's Union of Chicago has been conducting a strike against the Congress Plaza Hotel since June 2003. Guests may encounter picketers when entering the hotel. The Congress Plaza Hotel will make every attempt to maintain guest satisfaction through the duration of the strike.
The Congress Plaza is a traditional hotel located on South Michigan Avenue opposite Grant Park. The Congress Plaza's convenient downtown location commands a spectacular view of Grant Park and Buckingham Fountain.
